Concerts Janine Jansen great success!

The celebrated Dutch violinist Janine Jansen visited Oslo last week to perform together with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Eivind Gullberg Jensen.

Well-known

The young artist is well known in the Netherlands, but is also internationally famous. Her USA tour in the spring of 2010 together with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and its chef-conductor Mariss Jansons was a tremendous success.

Sold out

This was not her first visit to Norway. She has performed earlier in chamber concerts in both Oslo and Bergen. This was, however, her first concert with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Eivind Gullberg Jensen. The sold out concerts were well received by the audience and the Norwegian press.

Jansen performed at Oslo Concert Hall on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 May 2011.
