3 Energy policy in The Netherlands

‘The cost of petrol to the consumer is largely determined by major fluctuations on the global energy market. So it is good that energy-consuming and energy-producing countries have got together with the business community in Kuwait to discuss greater transparency and openness on the international energy market. We’re taking it one step at a time.’ This was the message of Minister for European Affairs and International Cooperation Ben Knapen following the International Energy Forum (IEF), which he co-hosted in place of Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation Maxime Verhagen.

4 Architecture of Consequence

On 8 March Ambassador Richard van Rijssen officially opened the exhibition, Architecture of Consequence – Dutch and Norwegian Designs on the Future at the National Museum of Architecture in Oslo.

5 Children in passports parents not valid anymore

From 26 June 2012, the addition of children to their parents' passports, by means of child stickers or otherwise, will cease to be valid.
