Consulary Declarations and Legalisation Autograph

The Embassy can issue the following consular declarations:

Declaration of Residence
For this declaration you will need an ‘utskrift av opplysninger registrert av Det Sentrale Folkeregister’, provided with an apostille stamp from the Fylkesmann. You can order and receive the declaration by mail. Please state in your application in which language you wish the declaration to be.

Declaration of Impediment
For this declaration you will need the following documents:

  • An ‘utskrift av opplysninger registrert av Det Sentrale Folkeregister’, provided with an apostille stamp from the Fylkesmann
  • A proof of deregistration from the last place of residence before moving to Norway or Iceland.
  • A copy of your passport

You can order and receive the declaration by mail. Please state in your application in which language you wish the declaration to be.

Attestatie de Vita 
For this declaration you will need the letter from your pension fund and your passport. You will need to come to the Embassy or one of the Consulates in person.

Declaration of Nationality
For this declaration you will need your passport. You can order and receive the declaration by mail. Please state in your application in which language you wish the declaration to be.

The issuing of one of the above declarations will cost approximately 240 NOK. The Attestatie de Vita for a Dutch retirement pension is free of charge.

Legalisation of Autograph
You can have your autograph legalised at the Embassy. In order to do so, it is necessary to come to the Embassy or your nearest Consulate in person. This legalisation costs approximately 210 NOK.
