Driver's License

If you live in Norway or Iceland and your driver's license expires, it is not possible to apply for a Dutch license again. You will have to apply for a new license in the country you live in. This means you will get a Norwegian or Icelandic license. In Norway you can contact Statens vegvesen for more information.

If you live abroad, you are not registered at any Dutch local authority. Therefore it is not possible to renew your license during a stay in the Netherlands.
